What is a LodeBear Anyway?

Meet JB — just a bear. And the face of LodeBear Software. A lode is a rich vein of ore, a concentrated source of value. A load-bearing structure holds everything else up. LodeBear is both: a rich source of operational intelligence that carries the weight your team shouldn't have to carry alone.

We started LodeBear because we lived the problem firsthand. Managing field crews, scheduling jobs, coordinating between office and site — and watching valuable time disappear into spreadsheets, phone calls, and disconnected tools.

There's a better way. AI-powered apps that actually understand how the trades work — not generic project management tools jammed into an industry that doesn't fit them.

The inspiration behind our mission

Jerome Brammer was Brian's cousin — and in a small family, they moved like brothers. Jerome ran his own clothing line, Third World Famous, and lived with the conviction that great things are made when you refuse to cut corners.

Brian was always pitching Jerome new business ideas. Jerome's answer was almost always the same: “Brian, I don’t like it when people give me homework.” It was funny at the time. But when Brian started building software for property managers buried in chaos — people who couldn't focus on their jobs because the tools gave them more work than relief — he understood what Jerome meant.

That idea — the app does the heavy lifting, it creates zero homework — became the founding principle of every product LodeBear builds. Jerome never saw the company, but his words are in its DNA. Our mascot JB carries his initials. Our motto carries his spirit.
